Subject: A true investment in the end?

Ok, so earlier today I was at my uncle's pawn shop. He is an expert on collectables and other assorted nonsense.

But is it really nonsense? As I was looking around his shop, I saw multiple toys and collectibles from like the 70s and back. I asked him about them and he said that they were worth a lot because of the popularity of the them at the time.

The second I heard this Halo instantly popped into my head.
Before this story gets to boring, I'll cut to the chase.

I asked him about all of the Halo action figure sets and other collectables that can be found at Bungie Store and he said that if they were preserved properly for about 10 to 15 years, they could be worth loads of cash.

So I then asked him a general question to stuff all of this in... Would buying Halo collectables now result in profit in the next decade or so, he said

"Yes, it would be a very good investment for your money. The popularity of Halo now would result in high demand for these items in the future."

Wait, before you guys head on over to Bungie Store, keep in mind that one, its not a guaranteed investment and two, the packages will be worth way much more if they are unopened.

So if you want to play with them then this isn't for you.

In conclusion, if you want Halo to pay you back for all of your years of loyalty, than Halo collectables is a good investment for you.

If you dont know how to access these items go to Bungie Store or your local retailers or game shops.

Thanks and good luck!

Are you a member of Bungie's PR team by any chance?

I think this almost goes for any toy. I watch Pawn Stars on the History channel a lot and it has really taught me how to preserve items to be worth money in the future. But I do think Halo memorabilia will be worth a pretty penny in the future.

Youre gonna regret that >:)

No, I can't say I am a member of the PR team. Personaly, what the hell is a PR team. Does it mean Public Relations or something cause IDK?

Anyway, I'm just telling you guys about what my uncle told me. Halo collectables could be worth a lot.

And as for the guy says why wait 20-30+ years, well I didn't say 20-30+ years. You must of made that number up. According to my uncle, who's (like I said) an expert on collectables, 10 to 15 years would be enough time for the Halo Era to end.

Now I did forget to mention that the 10-15 year range is the high end of the spectrum. 3-5 years is the low end, and 5-10 years is right in the middle.

If you wait for 20 years and up, then there is a good chance that people might not even know what Halo is. Thus, making the investment completely worthless.

No, you want to have the spectrum going from 3 years to 15 years. That will be an ample amount of time for Halo to become a relic of our past.

Well, I didn't actually give the amount of money you could make. Also I don't see how you could be smarter than me just because of a thread.

You can't expect to make thounsands of dollars on this investment so don't try. Depending on how long you wait to sell these items and the demand of Halo collectables in the near future, you could expect to make anywhere from 10 dollars to 1000 dollars on a collectable. It mainly depends on Halo's popularity in the near future and the condition of the product.
