why would u only give blue flame and the nameplates out to the ones who played on bungie day? what about the kids that couldnt play cause they were grounded or some of the older class that has to work days on and off,Ive been a fan since Halo CE and its been a part of my life since I was young. What im getting to is u have thousands that couldnt make bungie day for some reason and now we can never get the honorable blue?. my family kicked me out of my house and I wasnt able to make bungie day and no one ever told me that we could get it,I lost my chance i understand that, but im also 19 years old and I know as a long time halo fan that when I was younger something like the blue flame would be the one thing I would do anything for, I have legendary orange and i burn with the years of pride of my dedication to halo but let the one flame everyone deserves burn on.Because when We legends live forever with you in our hearts but let the little ones and elder work horses get their blue.we all gave you our dedication to you. I just ask to give everyone the one thing they all deserve for devoting to you.

keep it real,RiDdLE BOX 16

It was online on the website....for a whole day. Had work? Go home and log in. Grounded? You deserved it? ._.

P.S. Wrong forum buddy, try Reach forums (although they're probably no help whatsoever).

That's not how it worked at all.

try moving home to home and live out on a job like i do,your just some kid who has it ad wants to talk trash,no one wants lip from a kid that could have just found out about this game

  • 09.06.2011 11:54 PM PDT

ik how it work but not everyone has money to own iphones or pay for enternet i dont care to own it but every halo gamer out there deserves to have it

  • 09.06.2011 11:57 PM PDT

Really? There were so many ways you could have solved the problem even in THAT situation: use a smartphone (if available), ask a friend to do it for you, or let you use their computer, etc..
But truthfully, it's just a game. It's great and all that you're so dedicated to Bungie and Halo, but it's no reason to get so worked up over; MOVE ON. And for the record, I've been following Bungie since BEFORE Halo, so take a little time to chew on that, "kid".
P.S. If you're in and out of a job and home so often as that, you have more things to worry about than some virtual permutation. Thats my own opinion however.

im still homeless and just using my grandma's computer at the moment,i live on a location for weeks at a time with no tv or internet,i am doing what it takes to keep going, so what if i missed bungie day and didnt get the flame but if you were the kid im standing up for and you didnt have it you wouldnt be disagreeing with me right now,you people have no respect for the gaming community, your all selfish and self centered, you want what no one else can have, but not all of us can live on the xbox or computer every day.

  • 09.07.2011 12:02 AM PDT

kid? get a life dude and quite trying to be a smartass to anyone who brings a forum up,get a job like the rest of us.

  • 09.07.2011 12:05 AM PDT

Says the person "in and out of a job and home". Use that computer of yours and go find a job then and stop worrying about something so inconsequential as a game.

P.S. I'm not "quite" trying to be a smartass, I'm being one because this seems to be the only way to get through to you. My first post was just a friendly heads up and you go and attack me? I'm not the one putting down the gaming community, it is you who are doing that (quite efficiently if I might add)

theres other people in this world besides you, theres other things to do besides gaming but i have younger family that plays halo with me,my little cousin play xbox live with me and they love halo,i want them to continue playing it even though i cant anymore and people like you ruin the community they play in these days.

  • 09.07.2011 12:09 AM PDT

That's why, I'm saying try to stabilize your life first. I'm sure your cousin would more rather you have a place to call your own and hold a stable job than have you play games with him/her.

  • 09.07.2011 12:11 AM PDT

im not in and out of a job i live on the job and cant leave and if i knew they were giving blue flame out on bungie day i would've found some way to get it found my to little cousins,i told u i dont care for it i have legendary but the little ones deserve to have blue just as much as anyone else

That really is too bad. A point I've been trying to make (and unsuccessfully on my part) is that the event's already come and gone. There's not much you can do at this point, besides give them a heads up about future events as such. Also, I recall that the event lasted a week or two, just throwing that insignificant piece of information out there.

You and everyone else out there had your opportunity and you missed it, get over it. Besides, if you can't pay for internet, I think you've got more important things to worry about.

  • 09.07.2011 12:15 AM PDT

Two weeks, iirc. June 23rd - July 7th.

doesnt matte, no one cares about anybody else, say what u want on this forum, theres no point in defending,im getting off.

  • 09.07.2011 12:18 AM PDT

As I remember it was available on B.net for a week or so, all you had to do was log in with a linked GT account.
I think they should keep it as it is. Giving it out to everyone at any time doesn't make it 'special' if you know what I mean. You just need to be here at the right time, but unfortunately, you missed it.

I don't know if it's still available through the iPhone app, along with the star-nameplate.

it was on their website for two weeks. You had plenty of time. You didn't even need to have an xbox near you. It only required a small dedication.
