Still using a pump-action shotgun over 500 years in the future I see.

omg not realistic stop game production plz

This is a thread that I've made both to pose possible discussion points (using my current opinions) on the Halo Universe to the Universe community, and to also ask some questions which I can't make my mind up on. Two birds, one stone?

Forerunners 'n' Precursors

- I believe that the Precursors created the Humans as well as The Forerunners - two sister species. My reasoning is down to the bipedal, thin appearance of a Manipular Forerunner compared to a human, and the fact that there is a "genetic bridge" between the two (I believe this was stated in Cryptum).
- Simply how did the (Tier 1) Forerunners defeat the (Tier 0) Precursors?
- I believe the Precursors to be the creator of the Flood - a last resort weapon when they were being defeated by the Forerunners. Precursors left the galaxy when approaching defeat, and would later deliberately leave the flood powder which would eventually mutate the Pheru and cause a galactic struggle, making it easier for any potential Precursors to resettle into the galaxy.
- What was so shockingly horrific about what the Timeless One said that actually made humans commit suicide?

I'll add more as we go.

Wasn't it stated that the Forerunners created the Flood?

No.

Still technically unknown, though the OP's theory is solid.

Most of your questions are completely unknown to everyone except those working at 343i. We eagerly await the next forerunner book, to perhaps answer some of those q's.

I don't like the idea of humans being created by Precursors when all the available evidence we have in reality shows us to be intrinsically related to all other life on Earth. This cannot be so if humans originated someplace other than this planet.

1) This is the Forerunners' belief as well

2) Unknown, but it is possible the Primordial, backed by other evidence, was lying to demoralize the Forerunners. Though he may also be insane.

3) This is another commonly held belief.

4) Unknown.

Its heavily implied by Primordium's description that the Precursors started all life in the galaxy.
