"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

I'd just like to point out that in 3-5 years, when you don't even play the Xbox 360 you're going to forget all about what you did in Halo 3.
Who cares about a 50 that you will forget about, and that is ultimately worthless. Some of us are good enough to get a 50 without help, and others aren't, but that's the point of the ranking system.
Just play whatever you enjoy, and if you end up with a 50, then so be it. Don't go out of your way to get a 50, because it's really not worth it.
Rippin, you're a good LW player, but that's all. Who cares though, he is as good-a LW player as an MLG playlist warrior is good at MLG. He is probably the best LW player in the world (don't know though, because I don't play LW), and that's his playlist. Just like my playlist is TS, T2's playlist is MLG, Cell's playlist is Team Doubles, etc.
People should just play what makes them happy, and what they enjoy.
End of story.
Good luck with your 50, OP, but seriously, don't stress about it.
I certainly agree that relaxing and having fun is the most important thing, but the thing I enjoy most on Halo 3 is going for my 50 and being super competetive. On games like Black Ops, I won a ton of games in a row and got ridiculous KD without even trying and with no tough competition....and I hated it. Competetive online play is where my heart is. I just like the feeling of improving. However, I do agree that not stressing will make it easier to reach my 50 overall. I beg to differ that I won't remember reacing my 50, though. I've spent a lot of time working toward this goal, I'm not apt to leave it by the wayside.
