had a friends list thing?

If you need a list to remember who your friends are... god help you. That's what Private Groups are for. A place to see all your friends on BNet. Waypoint did this and I see absolutely no reason for it...

I agree. A friends list would be a waste of time.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

I can't say that I would use it like I've wanted one, but I would use it none-the-less.

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

We can already view our Xbox Live friends from Bungie, lets just leave it at that.

I would say "great add-on" and move on.

Would I use it? No. What's the point? What would I use it for? If I want to PM somebody, I just find the username and send them a PM. I don't see any practical use for it.

Not really. I'm still trying to figure out why most of you guys are against ANY new features.

A friends list wouldn't be a bad thing or waste of time. It would just be a nice little feature to have. Maybe have a bar on the side with all your friends listed, then it tells when they are online and offline. I think that would be rather neat. Again, plenty of other communities do these things, so why not us? Is Bungie the hipster of the internet?

I don't think it's particularly neccessary.

Off Topic, I am dissapointed by the lack of Joseph Staten Meme in this thread.

No. We're not the hipster of the internet. But what's the point of knowing when people are online? So you can chat them? This isn't facebook.

Personally I can't say I'd use it much. I just come to BNet for the forums. The members I care to catch up with, I talk to in groups on on LIVE.

Agreed as well. It isn't worth the investment into the feature, what is it gonna do for people? Just to give another reason to have an inbox overflow?

Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

The Waypoint site has that, and I don't like it at all.
