With high aim assist and bullet magnetism... how exactly does the better shooter always win? Both players have the exact same amount of aim assist and bullet magnetism at all times. I don't see how it produces any other results besides making aiming easier (for both players).
Because, with aim assist and bullet magnetism, while you may be dead center on my head, I could be slightly off to the left of your head but my bullets would still hit.
My aim was worse, but I still hit. Your aim was centered, and you still hit.
That's not a showcase of who the better shooter is.Technically, if you're aiming in a place to where magnetism would 'curve' you're shots into hitting, you're aiming just as correctly as the person who is aiming perfectly centered on the head.
It's fair, it's equal, the better player wins. Much easier? Sure, but easy and consistent > easy and inconsistent.
Perhaps I am looking more at the Halo Reach magnetism (it seems great than Halo 2's, is it?), as you can hit your shots with an AR without the reticle being on the opponent's head.
If it was as such in prior Halos (I honestly can't remember), that adds a degree of doubt concerning the best shooter winning. At least in my viewpoint.
