The community has mixed feelings towards the flood. Some hate, some love. Just depends on who you ask.

NO GROUP INVITES

Jesus took 3 days to respawn, talk about lag.

The spectacular job the moderators do keep it bearable, but I honestly prefered it when the Play Nice rules were in effect :)

Pure Insanity
The point of war is not to die for one's clan, but it's to make the other bastard die for his
Right before you die, there is always a chance to save yourself, sieze that chance and live to fight another day
The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.
Hidden in the shadows, Clothed in camo, Armed to the teeth. Hunting.

The Flood is much more active and entertaining. You just have to avoid the bridges.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

It's not just the Community forum, all the other forums will have people that like the Flood and don't like it.

I personally don't mind it, I browse through it at times.

Some say the Flood will soon take over the Community forum.

We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Active 9/1/11, Heroic 12/25/12

You can look at it as how people viewed the Flood in the Halo 3 campaign, some people loved meleeing and pounding BR rounds into their red tentacles but some people thought they were as fun killing as -blam!-

I was a finalist :P

It is the perspective on the individual and not the community as a whole.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

You do realize the most posted forum on this site is the Flood correct? Most community members are Floodians, and I don't understand why you're acting like they're vile scum. The Flood is a great place, and when people post things like it's pure evil it just makes things worse.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I like the Flood.

I'm indifferent to it.
I never go there so I'm not really fussed about what happens in it.

Key

I dislike the flood and all that it stands for except for when Black Eagle X99 makes a thread about dubstep. Because I found a lot of good dubstep in that thread. Yay Black Eagle.

The Flood had the best mood in Halo: CE but then they seemed to be lacking in the later games.

It's a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

The flood is awesome. Its a free place. It isnt full of fake do gooders who want to be mods.

The Flood is just another forum in this crazy Bungie website.
