Allright I am pretty sure that pretty much all of us have played infection and a Zombie quit and...poof! You were instantly made a Zombie.
In the early days of Halo: Reach, Infection was pretty much all they had. Safe Havens was awful. Well anyway getting force Zombied in Infection happened because there had to be at least three Zombies. Thus, if one human got infected then a Zombie quit it would be okay because there would still be three zombies left.
This system was fairly fair, and acceptable, but one single problem with Alpha Zombies that can cause this system to suck. Ever notice that if you get forced Zombied in Alpha Zombies you are an Alpha Zombie. This always happens and it happens because in Alpha Zombies there are two species of zombies. Alpha, and regular. Well the way the force zombie system works it says that there has to be three Alpha Zombies at all times.
If you don't see where I am going, then I'll cut to the chase.
In a game of Alpha Zombies there will always be three and only three Alpha Zombies because all infected humans become regular Zombies. What this means is that no matter how many Zombies there are in the round--there could ten and you and someone else are the only humans left--if one Alpha Zombie quits and you will become an Alpha Zombie yourself.
This is where the system is flawed majorly. Now, I'm not totally sure if a regualar Zombie could become an Alpha Zombie but I never have.
Even though Bungie is no longer managing much in the Halo World they or someone else needs to step in and fix this problem because its a bigger deal to some people than to others.
