That's the hugest coincidence I've ever seen.

Bungie.Match.com: Our Johnson knows what the ladies like.

I've already posted that link everywhere. Just so epic.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Well, pancakes.

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

What is the probability that:
You both go on at the same time of day, visit the same forum, read the relevant post in the relevant thread, and begin a discussion with another user in regards to a name.

Congrats mate, and epic thread.

I suddenly want to know if anyone I know goes here.

Anyone here go to a school with the initials MHS and have teachers named Mrs. Oyler, Mr. Banfield, and Mrs. Clay?

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Wow.

This is a new definition to Mind=Blown

For the lulz I go to NHS and had Mr. Peterson (if you spelled it Petersen he would kick your -Blam!-), Mr Lardell, Mrs. Mitchell, Mr. Broman.

Funny how every day you run across a billion other people and don't say "Man this internet is HUGE"

  • 09.07.2011 6:20 PM PDT

Dang, that a pretty cool stroke of luck.

My goodness. That's... indescribable. I've had friends over XBL that I've found who happen to be a Bungie goer, but nothing like this.

No, but I just recently found out OPR lives in the same town as me, and this is a really small Illinois town we're talking about. Odds are, I know him alrady. -_-

I think I suddenly remembered asking a friend their GT, so we could play Halo: Reach, and he gave it to me, and I noticed he was already on my friend's list. Ming=Nuked.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

I had a similar situation a while back. I was not originally from BNet, but rather from Podtacular (some may know it, some may not, it was a Halo fan site/podcast). Anyway, I met some people there, and I was quite active on the forums there. I ended up playing on Xbox LIVE with a lot of them.

Then a couple years later, maybe around the first or second week of school, around the end of the day, I asked a new kid from my math class if he had Xbox LIVE. He said yes, and started to say that his gamertag was kind of odd and proceded to say the first word in his GT. I suddenly stopped him, and said the whole GT. He was quite surprised, then I told him "I'm Kickimanjaro."

Turns out, we had known eachother on Xbox LIVE for about two-three years prior and somehow ended up going to the same high school.

Yeah last Feb. I met up with two Bnet members because we all went to the same conference pretty much. It was a blast. We just had lunch but I still loved it.
