Anyone below the age of 18 is considered a child to me. You can't vote, can't go into the military, cant rent/buy a house or apartment, can't lease or buy a car, can't apply for credit cards; basically you can't do alot of things that make you an "adult" and are necessary for independence.
In a perfect situation for MS and bungie, no one under the age of 17 would be playing halo. Since this isn't the case, the M rating is kinda just overlooked now. I dont care really, i mean its up to the parents if they want to monitor what their kids are doing. I disagree, a child is someone under the age of thirteen. People should consider the gap between 13 and 18 as "teen". My parents let me play Halo because it's not as violent as other rated M games.
