The other day, i was playing Halo Trial. Yeap, it's weird how i play Trial more often then my Halo/CE. Anyways, i just wanted to know if it was okay if ppl had other game types other than what Bungie provided in the Trial (which is ONLY CTF, and Slayer provided)

Therefore, people would rather download a Free Halo Trial instead of purchasing the Full Version of Halo. Does this count as a federal offense or is Bungie okay with this Game Type Enabling for the Halo Trial?

And by the way, there are about 5 servers with the name of Rat something. Like Ratsage or Ratwage and i believe that they are dedicated servers. I find this that there is a law broken.

Mods are okay in Halo, but enabling what is not already provided into a Trial Version and converting it into a full product is illegal. I'm not sure myself. o_0 Prove me wrong!

The few, the proud, the leet.

The event handlers in the widget definitions are still in the code, so there's nothing they can do about it, really. It's like punishing someone for pulling the tape off a box and getting at the things inside. While I'm sure the uber-persistent law team of Microsoft could try to make a case out of it, I dont see how it'd be worth it. The amount the lawyers would make in the time to deal with the case would be much more than the people working on/with their coding skills are keeping from them by not actually buying the game.

Yeah, and even if they are breaking the license agreement what's the worst they could do? The only map that's available to them is Blood Gulch.

OMG, people are using other gametypes OMG! Microsoft and Bungie don't have time to deal with trivial things like that, it's hardly even a problem.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

Wouldn't it be Gearbox Software's problem?

Well in the license agreement of the demo, there's usually a clause for not adding or changing to the software, and breaking that and still using the program is illegal. I also play the demo far more than the full version as well, however I did buy the CD to support Halo. (after all it's shareware not freeware)
