I post here about hacking Halo to provide more security for the kids playing on our servers and they remove my post?

Is this responsible corporate ethics?

You *do* understand the meaning of the term "hacking" don't you? I'm sure you do.

The only reason for removing my post would be that you disagree that kids should be protected.

Oh.....this ain't gonna be good.

If it's bad press you want......it's bad press you'll get.

You can't ban me from the web.......but I can expose you on it.

And just what do you think I'll do with the hack we develop - dispite your attempts to protect the people that attack kids on Halo PC servers?

Keep it quiet?

Think again.....

Seriously. The "Gameplay experience may change in online play" line is something every online game mentions, at least explicitly once.

That's not to say that you can't doing anything about it. You can set up dedicated servers specifically created for the younger players. The host can moderate the game and ban any stupid adults who is acting unruly towards the youth. Of course Bungie isn't protecting child molesters, but it's not their fault if a "child molester" buys their game, goes online and stalks innocent children.

Keep it quiet?

Think again.....
You think double-posting is allowed?

Don't bump!

It's for a reason that posts like this go to the second page so quickly...

Then they leave the game. Really. No problem. Or they try campaign (decals off).

Do you?

The "hacking" commonly referred to in the gaming scene is a colliquialism for the backwards engineering of software to produce results not intended by the developers, including among other topics the ability to include third party content (colliquially known as "modding"), as well as the ability to cheat.

I have no idea what you're on about in regard to child safety, as I did not see your previous thread. However, I can definitely point out that acting like some kind of evangelist that's going to "oust" some nonexistant evil is not going to gain you any respect.

If you really have something you need to talk about, feel free to send me a private message, rather than grandstanding on the forums. If you're just here to make baseless accusations and bait the other users into a fight, I will blacklist you.
