I am concerned that everyone will use only the pistol, and no other weapon (other than power weapons of course.)

No one used in the AR in general in Halo 3, ODST, and REACH. What will the AR become? Basically the same thing in all the other previous games, just a rifle you switch in for a better weapon or used for taking down shields or destroying vehicles (which was pausible in HALO CEA)

People still used the Assault Rifle on Halo: Combat Evolved, so, I'm not concerned. If you say that no competitive players did then I'll point out the same in Reach. :P

I guess I shouldn't get to worked up about it (not that I was in the first place.) because after Halo 4, nobody will play Reach's multiplayer, so, yeah.
