That's really odd. Okay, listen up, please. Recently, I watched a video called Maptacular that featured all the maps of Halo CE in it (at least I think it did). Watching it, I noticed a level that looked almost EXACTLY like Warlock, except for color scheme and some small minor changes.
I then called my friend, asking him if the level MIGHT have been called "Wizard". He replies, "Maybe." I never really owned the game, but I played the campaign all the way through, as well as a few custom games on Hang em High, so I high-tailed it down to our local Blockbuster, rented it with my trusty Blockbuster card and some Giftcard my friend gave me for my birthday and rented Halo.
I went straight to the Multiplayer part as soon as I got home, and I saw it-Wizard.
So, my question is-is Wizard a prototype for Warlock, or is it just coincidence that they look alike?

P.S-The commentor (the guy who says "Killing Spree") has a weird voice in this game...I liked his Halo 2 version better...

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Warlock is a remake of Wizzard
as with many other maps.

I actually like Wizard a little better. Why were there no Spartan training or cloning type maps in Halo 2? I liked the looks of those maps. They should put maps like that in Halo 3. It would give it that Halo 1 feel.

Yeah, the Halo 2 commentator's voice is better.

Carrots.

Okay.
Well, number one, the maps weren't Halo CE maps, they were new Halo 2 maps.
Now, yes, Warlock is a remake of the level Wizzard, but with an face lift, the bases, of course, are exacly the same, everything is exacly the same, it was remade with minor touches (Broken rubbled, roots, backrounds, rain ect...) and a very big face lift.
No, Wizzard is not a prototype for Warlock, because you need to play Halo 2 first, than play Halo Combat Evolved after to not get them confused.
In Halo CE (Combat Evolved) there was, yes, a map called Wizzard, it was just a normal map.
Now, Halo 2 came out, bungie decided they would like to add some new multiplayer maps, and they released some new maps. If you have the Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack, you will come upon a video called "Kill Tacular".
It will show you one of the maps, Warlock, is a remake of Wizzard.

Note: There are more remakes of Halo Combat Evolved maps in the new maps (For example, Elongation is a remake of Longest)
