If only everyone were as skilled as you, we wouldn’t need to dedicate so many resources as we do to stopping cheaters. Players that can sense when their opponent is reaching for the standby button and can then kill them to dust is the wave of the future.

Halo PC and CE will close by itself within a few minutes
does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it.
I really want to play.

Does it say there's an exception error?

I've had both Halo and CE shut down by themselves for various reasons, be more specific than it shuts down by itself after a few minutes. It tends to help figure out what the problem is.

it does not say anything it just shuts down.
every once in a while not very often it says that it closed un exspectly and wants to know if I want to start in safe mode.
(my computer does not shut down the program does)

Ah, you may be suffering from "SP2 has screwed us" syndrome, where there is an incompatiblity error between Windows XP Service Pack 2, Halo PC, and high-end computers. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo/downloads.asp and there you should download the autoupdate patch, and put it in your Programs/Microsoft Games/Halo folder.
