Why would the Battle Rifle fire single shot because you're looking through a scope? is there like a switch on the gun he holds while zoomed in to make the weapon fire this way? And why? Is it more accurate single shot?

In GoldenEye 007 for the N64, the Russian AK fired three shot bursts when not zoomed in, and single shots when zoomed in. This is somehow related, not game wise but accuracy, and realism wise.

yeah, if you think about it, firing shot after shot would mess up your accuracy when firing because of the recoil of the gun. and when your not zoomed in you are not going to be as accurate anyways.

It's the same thing with the mercenaries in the recent Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow....fully auto, but only single shot when zoomed in. If you thing about it, full auto while zoomed in would be worthless. I like the idea of 3 round burst and then single shot...should be very versitile.

And a little off-topic; speaking of Splinter Cell, has anyone seen the new pics and videos for Splinter Cell 3? It looks freakin amazing....I can't wait.
