I really think that most 9/11 discussion should be prohibited.
If you look at any 9/11 thread in the Flood, nothing good comes out of it. It's just asking to be trolled. What do you guys think?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Well, it isn't really political, ehh...

There aren't many people moderating the forum.

There are many trolls posting "remember Elk" in 911 threads.

It is quickly becoming the new porch day.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

I think all 9/11 discussion should be locked. It's almost all negative, anyway. I don't even want to go on the Flood. It just sickens me.

13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

I just came here for some refuge.

I feel like I just walked into a warm house when there's a hurricane, gunfight, fire, and bombing going on outside.

The Flood is hell right now, where are the freaking moderators?

There are a few cleaning the mess, I would assume many mods would also avoid the flood.

Didn't know you could see what all the mods were doing.

Key

I'm not even going to go into the flood because I know I'm going to see something about 9/11 that pisses me off so much that I do something that might get me banned. I can't stand people who come up with conspiracy theories or say "the government did it" or something like that.

9/11 is a day to remember all the people lost. Not -blam!- about how you think it's the government's fault. Sorry for that rant. I know I don't even know if that's what's going on but the flood's reputation precedes it in this situation.

The internet is too immature for serious discussion. How did you not know this.?

Hello! I'm Bunie.net's resident medical student (hell i'm sure there are more but I'm the only one who openly declares it!) I love my emblem, and I am periodically active.
I have a Twitter

I agree, an atrocity like 9/11 should not be discussed on a game forum.

It is a tragedy, yes, but this isn't a place to talk about it properly.

Positive vibes.

I don't really care, to be honest. If I want to discuss 9/11, I'll discuss it with my family and the people around me. I never even considered discussing it here.

:)

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

This. People are smart enough to form their own opinions, but they're not polite enough to respect others, and to not try and force their opinions. Until all bungie.net users meet all of those criteria, we shouldn't be discussing this here.

We should also ban all discussion of Pearl Harbor and the Boston Massacre.

Racism isn't wrong if it's funny.

It means a lot to us Americans and to say that we can't have a discussion about that horrible event in our history is really insulting to some people.
I think that you'll see that the people who really want to have serious discussions, do so. The trolls are mostly thrown to the side.

So no, 9/11 talk should not be prohibited in my honest opinion.

Not to mention, I got a thread about Crimson locked. Yet, 9/11 can be discussed...

Honestly, I think a lot of the mods are a**holes.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Alright, I'll summarize what I said in the previous thread about this topic:

Report the people who mock it, and let those who want to discuss it discuss it. We should not be prohibited just become some complete fools think it funny to make fun of, no, those people should be banned.

As I look at threads in the Flood, I'm in complete disgust of how these -blam!-s think it's funny to mess around with such a delicate subject like this.

Very disgusting.

I am still offended by anyone who makes fun of the sinking of the RMS Lusitania.

Such an issue is sacrosanct and anyone who does not treat such an issue with honor and respect is nothing greater than human filth!

The fact that we have threads like this on 9/11 but no threads like this when people are cheering the death of Bin Laden reflects nothing less than the blatant hypocrisy of popular American morality.
