Subject: How can we download a video on our computer from our fileshare?

I'm asking that because there is a video I want to download on my computer and I don't see the option, apparently you can with rendered one (as some kind soul rendered a few of mine) but how can I if it is not?

Is there any way the community can tell me?

Is it rendered??? I'm not sure ,but I also think that this belongs in the reach forum, but don't take my word yet let me check.

Try right clicking on the video, you might be able to download it.

You can't download film clips directly from your file share to your computer, as Halo 3/Reach film clips are not really videos in its true sense. They need to be rendered into video either by Bungie Pro Video or the game engine itself. If you don't want to use Bungie Pro Video, you can use a capture card or similar device.

I thought it also concern halo 3 video and since I want to put it on my computer I thought it was meta enough to put it on the community instead, where I expected members to be wiser actually

Actually when it is rendered you can download it on your computer but since I don't have bungie pro (to render it) I was looking for another way. Thank you for putting thoughts into it though :)

Either, you would have to render the video your wanting then you can download it.

Or you can get a thing for you to plug your HDD to the computer to get that file onto your xbox.

This is not possible because Halo film clips are just bits of information that tell the game engine where and when to generate objects, not a series of pictures that you can scroll through 30 times a second.

@OP: Rendering film clips using Bungie Pro Video is a pretty easy process. You'll need to shell out a little bit of money but it is a very convenient service.
