Dont get me wrong, it looks absolutely astounding, and a lot of fun, but im concerned about how Bungie will balance this. I assume that they respawn, but nobody has commented on this. As cool as it is, i'll miss all the crazy crap and interesting stuff that used to happen in multiplayer with indestructable vehicles. Ah well, I guess I'll have to get over that.

I think concerned is the wrong word, im curious as to how exactly bungie is going to balance out vehicle damage with the rest of the game. Im sure they'll do a great job, and I have lots of ideas on how they're going to balance it, but does anyone know concretely?

From what I saw of the Halo 2 demo (the Microsoft Press Conference one) they seemed to respawn pretty quick. Although, that could merely have been made like that for a purpose, they didn't want the crowd waiting for the stupid thing to respawn.

Yea, I'd have to agree with you, I'm a little worried too, but I doubt they'll do anything to them to detract too much from the game (we're talking about Bungie here).

I believe that they will make damage an option.

I was worried about it at first too. But through the videos, screens, and the hands-on reports especially, I've gotten over it. If you read IGN's second report, you can see that this can't be too big a deal, "We're sure there will be more and we can't wait for November 9, because we've never fell head over heels for a game like this before." With a quote like that, ALL my worries/concerns for Halo 2 are at bay. Go read the whole article if you haven't, pretty good stuff.

i don't know why some people worry about stuff in halo 2...the people who make bungie are just like aall of us in terms of the game play for halo. they are the ones that made halo so addictive and amazing so i don't understand what there is to worry about. so just shhhhhhhhhhhhh and wait till november and it will be the best days of our lifes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Not to say that we can't discuss our feelings on aspects of the game, that's great. But I think we should worry less, and talk about it's awesomeness more. :D

Yeah I have read all the previews, and my concerns pretty much just turned to curiosity on how Bungie will balance vehicle damage. The E3 demonstrations thus far have given me a lot of confidence in Bungie. You know how it gets, your used to something for so long and then it changes, it just takes time to get used to and appreciate the change.
