To infinity, and beyond!
UNSC Leviathan

It really doesn't matter. A warning is kind of like a moderator saying"I could have banned you, but I didn't" so I believe it should affect titles.

I got a warning over a year ago, but haven't gotten honorable back yet. It's no big deal though, if you want to get a title just follow the rules.

Yeah, I think it might be time to go back to no titles, and there were two bans - 7 day bans and permanent bans.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I don't want to go back to the dark ages. :p

Were you here for the dark ages? Because I made this account in 09', and from what I remember, there were titles.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

You mean the "dark age" you weren't around for? I'm actually quite content going to a non-title system. It'd stop bit of bickering around here.

But, should that one mistake result in your title being taken away? Especially when somebody ... has earned the right for that title?
Let's clear something up here.
Rights are not earned- they are intrinsic. I'm sure you've heard about your rights here. Yes, that's right, you don't intrinsically deserve anything here, not even the ability to post.

Priveleges are earned. On Bnet, you are granted the privelege to post right out of the box. You keep that privelege by demonstrating the relevant responsibility- in this case, making rule-abiding posts.
You receive a warning or a ban when you fail to uphold that responsibility; however, in the case of the warning, you don't even lose the privelege to post- the one you abused!
Isn't that generous?

TL:DR; Be happy you can still post and that you aren't banned for breaking the rules. You don't even lose all of your title progress- be happy for that too.
You don't deserve anything here, keep that in mind.

I wasn't here for that, but I've read up and learned my Bnet history and it doesn't sound fun.

There should just be one ban: permanent.

And we should issue it to even the most minor infractions, like unintentionally misspelling a word!

  • 09.12.2011 3:14 PM PDT

OOOH, a new word!

OT: Yes. Well said.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

You will not take the warning serious if didn't earn your reward(title) if that is your objective here, gain a high title.

So taking away what you have cared off for a while is a warning that you should really consider to break or do stuff against "da rulez"

Yeah. I wouldn't have said this when I was newer here, but I kinda think that 3-day bans ought to be a warning.

Is it really that big of a deal?

Apparently. You can still post on the forums if you get warned can't you? So to me it's more of a "please don't do that again, or you will take a break for a couple days" kind of thing.

Titles are fun. I like how it is now, but if you think it is best, do what you please.

It would be cool if we could create-a-title. By being a good community member you can unlock words and colors to customize as you see fit.
