Remove titles completely so that opinions have a stronger influence than a title.
True but without titles, people wouldn't put the extra effort to behave and follow rules or be motivated to be more active in the forums.
Without titles, then there wouldn't be an influx of completely useless posts by users who want to bump up their posts and "rank up" so desperately. Which, I think, is a plus.
People that don't behave get banned. People without having something useful to add to any conversation won't chime in. All that's (hopefully) left would be the quality of the post itself of those that post without any motivation to make it for the sake of a worthless title.
Take away the "activity" requirement for titles, would that fix the problem?
