Screw Off you Benidict Assface!!

Both are great and equeal to me. But both games had flaw, but then again, what game dosn't have flaws. Halo CE: Singleplayer was better than halo 2, multi was the same good fun for both IMO.

Sometimes, I dream about cheese.

HALO 2s campaign was best, followed by ODST IMO, infact C.Es campaign is overrated and quite boring tbh. the main reason people hold it above the others is becaue of the nostalgic gameplay experience back when HALO was the #1 series in he game industry.

fair enough if you dont like HALO 2 or hate it, but i suggest trying juggernaut on ascension, warlock or relic, slayer on lockout or ivory tower. ofcourse no HALO game in the series will compare to HALO 2s BTBs on headlong, coag or waterworks

HALO C.Es multiplayer on the other hand was better then 2 for race, CTF and team slayer - good old blood gulch

i will be suprised if someone didnt like HALO 2s music, far better then reach and 3 IMO

Future Film Director, and productive gamer.Have my CompTIA A+ Certification in Computer Repair, and am moving to get to Microsoft Certified. Anything from Assassinating Elites, to helping Cortana destroy Fusion cores, to liberating the Covenant from the prophet of truth, I am all things Halo! See you on the Battlefield...

Ill have to say Halo 2 is better HOWEVER, Halo CE is one of the best games hands down on any console.

I am a pharmaceutical scientist. I received my Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2010, after working as a Pharmacist for 4 years. I currently work in King of Prussia, PA, and focus on the analytical chemistry of small molecule APIs. My clients include some of the most well known big pharma companies in the world.

Campaign yes. Multiplayer, no way in hell. The only crime is that Hang Em High was not originally in H2

H3 > H2 > CE > Reach

H2 has a lot of potential but most things in campaign are just too difficult for me to implement (otherwise, I would have put it first). I like making SLASO strategies though.
Likewise with H3 only it's easier.
CE had balanced and fair AI but it just can't keep me interested
I haven't played ODST for a long time so I can't say
Reach is horrible. Enough said.

So it's actually H3 = H2 > CE > Reach

I've spent a lot of time in both areas but H2 is bigger and there's more room for discovering new glitches. I just prefer H3 because it's what I grew up with and easier.

It's subjective. Personally, I liked Halo 2 better than the first, but it's still an amazing game.

well there you have it sepratist unggoy/mark v guy. HALO 2s campaign surpasses C.Es on average but C.Es multiplayer still remains the top dog.

It is better in almost every way. At one point Halo 2 had Xbox Live Multiplayer and that was the only thing really going for it. Seeing as it doesn't any more, it is definitely worse than Halo 1. Halo 1 had a better story, better levels for Multiplayer (I'm still missing Sidewinder and Boarding Action) and Campaign, the gameplay was just generally better even if it did lack a few weapons and vehicles, and the graphics weren't all that much worse.

That's weird. I've always thought it was like this.

CE > Reach > H3 > ODST > H2 > HW

H3 > H2 > CE > Reach

That's weird. I've always thought it was like this.

CE > Reach > H3 > ODST > H2 > HW
*cough*

Besides, Reach only copies CE. It does not simulate CE gameplay.

The scoped pistol returned alright but it was unbalanced and hardly reliable. Most Reach pros will tell you to use the DMR.

Fall damage returned but that hard landing stun associated with it is unfit for fast gameplay and especially a game with sprint (this isn't CoD).

Armor abilities... some were ok but the drop shield breaks too easily and the worst part of all... armor abilities disappear after being dropped (on LNoS that is). Also, it's ridiculous giving Noble Team armor lock and making them invincible and making them able to one shot you after betrayal.

Now for the AI. This is what makes Reach fail hard. They are unfair. I can make 4 paragraphs on this with great precision if you want. I still have my LNoS Legendary videos (which I haven't released/put together into clips yet). Some show the AI's occasional omniscience if you're at a certain position on LNoS. Others show how absurd the AI is when it comes to noticing the player. It's not consistent. It's random. One time, you'll surprise an Elite. The other time, he'll just run up to you and smack you. One time, you'll land right in front of them and they won't notice you. The other time, they'll see you right as you fall.

Anyways, I now say:

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > CE > Reach

I myself have been playing Halo CE for PC over again. While I never played it for Xbox I can only assume it is mostly the same. And I WILL be buying it when it comes out. That game was AMAZING. Vastly superior to Halo 2. I hated the regenerative health, dual wielding was ok i guess. The campaign was so much better, and the mulitplayer is in my opinion infinitely better than Reach. I can't tell you how much I hate it when entire teams in team slayer use armor lock.

I've seen other threads of people saying how Reach pwns CE. I can only say EWW. I say both campaign and multiplayer pwn. The voice acting in CE is also hilarious, Halo 2 just sounded dumb - just listen to the grunts.

I could go on, but most people don't bother reading my rants. Patience runs thin here.

CE's Multiplayer felt more classic, but Halo 2's Multiplayer was certainly where the future Halos would reference.
