do you think HALO 4 campaign is going to involve a civil war because the humans and the covenant cant agree on wether the forruners still exsist in there own races and i think the forruners are alive because the ship master cheif flew into looks like a hidden distant working home world of the forruners think about it imagine

Well the Sangheili are headed for a civil war by the looks of things, over the divinity of the Forerunners. The Brutes are already in a civil war over who should be the leading clan. Though I don't see Humanity getting into a civil war, especially after all that has happened. Halo 4 will probably not focus on such trivial stuff anyway.

What -blam!-y is this?

Do Work Son!

I highly doubt it. All the information I got from Halo 4 tells me that the battle is going to be on the forerunner planet and I believe they also said there is a "new enemy". But I'm not completely sure.

To answer your specific question, no.

I do think that there will be some kind of division developing between the Chief's enemies in Halo 4, who/whatever they are. Whether one side becomes and ally to him or it just turns into a 3 way war with constantly changing alliances I can't say. I think the Covenant Civil War was a great addition to the Halo storyline and I'd like to see something similar take place in Halo 4's enemies (though a little different for the sake of not being repetitive).

I think the covenant will recover its army and go in with a full invasion force of some 1.4 billion alien soldiers. The battle will be fought at the forerunners home planet. There will be a new enemy. And the Flood will be back to ravage everyone by revenge. One last huge war in which hundreds of billions will die. Also the Humans will actually take the battle to the covenants home galaxy. how epic would that be.

Um, the Covenant cannot recover it's army again, the prophets are dead or hiding, and the Elites wouldn't trust them.

Isn't the forerunner home planet ruined?

Covenant live in the same galaxy as Humans...

My honor student can beat up your honor student.

My personal theory is that the Elites are definitely on the verge of a major civil war that (most likely) will occur and be a center-point for the post-war novels. The reasoning behind this: plot-wise this would expand upon the ideas of forerunner divinity and the state of confusion that the Covenant's sects left in the galaxy; gameplay wise, if the Elites are busy with a massive Civil War, then they won't be expected to play a large part in the Reclaimer Trilogy.

Leaving the Elites out would allow the new Trilogy to reflect on how the humans are "reclaimers" of all forerunner tech while leaving the humans by themselves to take on the "new threat" that threatens the galaxy in Halo 4. I think it's pretty apparent that humans will be involved in Halo 4 to some degree (maybe it will make sense timeline wise and be past 2610, maybe it won't). this would result in the same mystique and inherent danger felt in Halo CE: we are alone, outnumbered, outgunned, and our fate rests in the Chief's hands.

No just no.
Covenant is split up and in hapazard condition.
The flood aren't even coordinated, we don't even know where the other SPECIMENS of flood are located other than the remaining rings where they remain harmless from anyone smart enough not to land on them.

Covies and humans live in the same galaxy, and both the humans and races of the covenant barley have made it outside of the orion arm (prob wrong name) of the galaxy.
humans have next to no military, and are in no shape to fight any wars let alone battles.
