Do you think it's spam worthy? I sure as hell do.

In no way does it help, and it just bumps the thread.

In my opinion, anything that is posted in a troll thread is considered spam, no matter what.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

Mini-modding has always been lame, except when it actually helps (and doesn't bump a spam thread)
We should totally have the option to not bump a thread when we post...

Positive vibes.

"...In no way does it help..."

I wouldn't say that. It may help someone; you never know.

Honestly, does it matter? The moderators will eventually get to the thread either way.

I'd only post that if the thread is already at the top of the forum.

This basically sums it up. If you post in a troll thread, you're feeding the troll. If you post in a spam thread, you're spamming since it's not on topic. There are however exceptions.

It annoys me when people bump a thread just to say that they reported the OP. I guess they feel Edgy or something.

  • 09.14.2011 8:41 PM PDT

It promotes not making useless spam.

  • 09.14.2011 8:59 PM PDT

Stop banning me please.

It isn't spam worthy IMO

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Whoo.

I think people should actually just do it, instead of reporting the thread and making a post about it.

I'm making popcorn and then I'm going to eat it, how many of you care? How helpful is that comment to the conversation?

But the thing about that is, why would you post in a thread you didn't want to bump? If the thread is of such low quality why post in it at all? Also, why make a comment you don't want people to see?

I hate a lot of things but, art isn't one.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed but the rules specifically say that if someone is trolling spamming or violating the rules in any way that there is a report button and if you post a reply to said thread or post that you are just as guilty as the poster.

Paraphrased actually.

When I grow up, I want to be just like goofenhour.

If people keep bumping an obvious thread that should be locked, I think it's appropriate. If there was no previous posts, and the first post was "Report and move on", that's not really productive. If it continues to be bumped, then that would be a good time to post it as the thread is already being bumped a lot.
