Subject: What's wrong with the controls in this game?

They don't seem as "smooth" as any other game on Xbox (Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, Battlefield(on ps3 anyway), Even Halo Reach). It feels like it's a poorly made gamepad emulator on a PC game, they don't feel as smooth, It's kinda like, turning up down, left and right is fine, But pointing the control stick to the south west, north east ect is nowhere near as smooth as it should be. It makes sniping a chore. Has anyone else noticed this?

The game's 4 years old, controller settings have been improved in recent years.

Hrm... Maybe you're right. But still, does it feel a bit... off to you? I mean, I over aim like crazy unless I make only VERY slight adjustments to the controls. Every other game works fine for me, including Reach, so I'm not sure if it's my TV (Being an HD LCD TV and all, I used to play 3 long ago on an old piece of junk CRT TV, and I never really complained too much, But then again I was younger and less jaded/neurotic than I was before :/)

I run Skirmish!!!

halo reach is alot easier to aim then halo 3, i think the control scheme is fine, of course i've been using it for 4 years though.

Turn down your sensitivity. I play on 3.

the controls seem fine to me in Halo 3. In fact I find it easier and more fluid than other fps games I play.
