Once upon a time, Bungie thought it would be a good idea to remove the highest skill and make it so people could grind their way to the top, negative k/ds and all (call it -blam!- of duty). Well, in a long list of mistaken "upgrades" to reach, Bungie made Halo Reach more and more like CoD, removing the little skill that Halo required. Now, it is about that time of year where we start to see Forerunners and Inheritors without necessarily yelling about their nonstop playing since release. Now, it wouldn't bother me if these kids didn't 1) have 10 onyx commendations in Campaign and 15 in Firefight, and 2) if they didn't have 90,000 damn kills, and 95,000 deaths. How do you even play Halo that much and still suck? At this point, the ranking system has left people in the dust. The only way I got better in Halo 3 was playing lone wolves and ranking up, or team doubles and MLG, where I got my 50s. Now, me and my friend with whom I played in Halo 3 go into Double Team and win 25 games in a row, with 3 k/ds. This "Hidden Ranking System" is a joke and a half, and even if they do match us with kids with 2 k/ds, we wreck them and make them quit out. It honestly seems like we're the only good kids left in halo! (And yes, thats a challenge -blam!-). But, the real thing wrong with this is the fact that I made a forerunner go 4 and 26, jetpacking around the map with AR out in Team DMR's. If you've played 20,000 games and haven't figured out Jetpack is worthless, you may as well kill yourself.
