The charm of halo ce. If you haven't played it, then you're missing out.

Bungie didn't make this game, they supported it. Also they didn't wreck halo, although I must say I've been preferring 3 to reach lately.

Bungie didn't make Crimson silly.

You have no reason not to play it right now, unless you don't have an iPad. It's free, so no excuse there.

Not support ... more like "if you include the word crimson in the title we will publish it under our banner".
Ironically THIS type of thing is exactly what bungie ranted hard against Microsoft about.

"didn't wreck halo" - lol.
Why then the massive player drop from reach?
Why is reach the #1 traded game, so much so that it is now worth nothing?
Why did the reach DLC fail to sell?

They mortally wounded the halo series by wrecking reach.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

Yes, but we can't let facts get in the way of our trolling.

I can give you 7 reasons why not to play it.

The first reason begins with B and ends with UNGIE.

I can give 7 reasons why you should read things.

Bungie published the game, they didn't make it.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I can't give you a "good reason" to try something that I enjoy other than "I tried it, liked it, and I would hope that you can/will enjoy it as much as I do."

The fact that it is free... well, then the only thing that you are "risking" is spending some time deciding whether you like it or not. Since you are willing to spend time on the forums asking others to tell you why to play the game... it appears that your time isn't all that valuable.

Because it's free, and because it's fun.
That's all you need to know.

Why then the massive player drop from reach? Maybe because other popular games were release around the same time frame and reach had much greater competition then it did in 2007.

Why is reach the #1 traded game, so much so that it is now worth nothing? Maybe because many fans were butthurt halo reach was not halo 3.5 or halo 2.5 and actually tried something new and took a risk.

Why did the reach DLC fail to sell? Again like in the first question more popular games there are means more sells go to them and not all to reach. And seeing as certain affinity made both map packs for reach I would see that 343 is not a great as you claim them because their map pack would not be selling either.

They mortally wounded the halo series by wrecking reach. Maybe iin you oppinion but I see them as allowing halo to evolve unlike it fans who just wants to hold it back.

So reach SELLS more titles on day 1 than H3 ... yet it drops from the #1 online played game within two weeks from launch ?!?!?

And yes - at that same point of greater competition MW2 manages to attract gamers back, over reach. Even though its 12+ months old, had less initial sales AND had a follow-on title in the same series.

So ... its the FANS fault ... most people would have thought that a developer who promotes itself as 'being in touch with the community' would have known better and released a game that these fans wanted.

And even once they knew that they had messed up bungie refused to accept it. Even Microsoft (the publisher, not the developer) acknowledged that reach had lost its way and been a disappointment. But yeah, lets blame those stupid fans.

'343 is as you claim' ... WOT?!?!?
Please highlight this claim. Was supporting bungies death blow to the halo series. Will let you know POV on 343 once I have played their first title. Lets keep it it facts - lol.

And facts - you claim "certain affinity made both map packs", mmm, better check on that Noble pack. Funny that bungie attributes Noble as its own, and even these reviews Certain Affinity and 343 Industries surpass bungies Noble Map Pack ... perhaps you got confused as Certain Affinity is made up of ex-bungie employees who wanted to follow the true halo.

But back OT ...
Play the free intro to the game ... nothing to loose. Even if your disappointed it cost nothing (just a shame reach didnt work out the same).
