The Sniper in the the Halo series is a semi automatic, 4 round magazine capacity Rifle. I have noticed that the semi automatic capability of the rifle has become quite annoying. It has "degraded" the rifles skill to use. If you miss a shot you simply follow with three or more. Now I have noticed when I am on Team Snipers the no scoping "spray" of 4 rounds is very annoying. I believe switching the weapons shooting capability to Bolt Action would increase the skill to use. You must pace your shots more, the bolt action capability would do this. Maybe to balance this the magazine capacity could be increased to 5 rounds. Also the scope I believe would be more effective if it looked more like maybe Killzone's or something scope. With the mil dots and what not, more like crosshairs. Just an idea for Halo 4

there's a reason why the sniper is like the only weapon that has never been changed. it's because it's perfect.

if you think the sniper spams...wow, and the scope is easy:

1) click the right stick

2) put circle on head

3) pull right trigger

@SilentGodsRiot. I never said the scope was hard to use, obviously you simply aim. But there is more to it then that, I don't like the fact that sniping has been degraded to using the reticle to no scope across map.

I think they should have a small version of it with less recoil but less damage also. Maybe throw in a bigger clip like 6 rounds?
EDIT: So that in Team Snipers theres something to counter it with faster fire rate so that they don't get the idea to run up and no scope you :)
