Many of us have wanted the Reach armor to do something.
While it could be easily exploited if actually implemented, I am here to take guess at the Effects each piece of armor would be.
Please note: This will only contain armor that isnt of note (ODST, Military police etc)
Armor sets
CQC Effects: Takes less damage from melee combat and close range engagements
EOD Effects: Take less explosive damage
Air Assault effects: More control with Jet pack, faster rate of descent and ascent
Grenadier effects: Takes damage more effectively
Scout effects: More accuracy with Sniper rifle, better use of Active camo
EVA effects: Better movement control in vaacum
Commando effects: Better effectiveness with AR and assault based weapons
Gungnir effects: More accuracy with Spartan Laser
Recon effects: More accuracy with DMR and Magnum, better use of Active camo
Securit effects: More protection against ballistic threats
Helmets
Pilot effects: Better control over aircraft
CQB effects: Better results from melee and close quarters battle
Shoulder armor
FJ/Para effects: Better jetpack handling, better protection
Recon effects: Better stealth abilities
UA/Multi threat effects: Better protection
Jump jet effects: Master handling with jet pack
EVA effects: Better control in Zero G
CQC effects: Better protection in close quarters
Commando effects: Better headshot protection from the sides
Sniper effects: Spare ammunition for sniper rifles
Security effects: Better damage protection
Chest armor
UA/Counter Assault effects: Better torso protection, more ammo
Tactical/LRP effects: More AR ammo
Tactical/Recon effects: More ammo for AR, Magnum and DMR
Collar/Grenadier effects: Better chest protection, better shields
Tactical/Patrol effects: Better stealth abilities, more movement speed
Collar/Breacher effects: More shotgun ammo, better protection in close quarters
Assault/Sapper effects: More grenades, more ammo for Grenade launcher
Assault/Commando effects: More AR ammo, More grenades
Collar/Grenadier UA effects: Better shields, better neck and chest protection
UA/Base security effects: More grenade launcher ammo
Wrist armor
UA/Bracer & Buckler effects: Better forearm and wrist protection
Tactical/UGPS effects: Built in Mini-map on HUD
Assault/Breacher effects: More shotgun ammo
Utility armor
UA/Chobham effects: slightly better thigh protection
Tactical/Hard case effects: slightly more Magnum ammo
UA/NxRA effects: Better thigh protection
Tactical/Trauma kit effects: Heal quicker
Tactical/Soft case effects: More ammo in general
Knee guards
FJ/Para effects: Better jet pack handling
Grenadier effects: Better protection from ground borne grenades
