In the pic on the OP you can clearly see that Master Chief is quite a bit smaller, physically, than Carter.
Realistically speaking though, if they had such an abnormal amount of weight pumped into their body they would probably die.

343 guilty spark says he weighs 394 lbs in the bestarium, mendez says he and the other spartans weigh approx. 440 lbs. yet in the fall of reach, he weighs 286 lbs.
Since I weigh 228 lbs, and im 6'2'', muscled (average density), it seems highly reasonable that master chief would weigh well over 350 lbs. That or all the spartans in the universe are feather weights( I have friends who body build, are shorter than me and still weigh more than the spartan III's like carter).
It seems bungie did not understand what super density muscle and bones would do to your weight. You can't base carter's weight on how he looks in MK V armor, I could say the same for MC in CE.
For every inch a person gains in height, he gains approx. 8-13 lbs in weight because of muscle and bone, which should give him at least 40 lbs over me (if he were slim, which he an the other spartans are not). If you add the super dense muscle chief has on to his height without armor : 6'10.5'' (carter is that height in his armor) that should be another 40-60 lbs of weight. Then, there is the ceramic coating on the spartan's bones, which is quite a dense and heavy compound, which should be another 50-75 lbs.
Combine these 3 weight additions on to his large frame, and you should get a weight somewhere around 390-440 lbs. Not at all unreasonable given that the largest natural giant stood 7'9'' and weighed over 520 lbs (who wasn't by any means obese, google him up and you'll see what i mean).
These dimensions should give MC and the spartans a considerable strength and power advantage over the 320 lbs elites. (something bungie again never fully realized, especially in their armor, when they weigh over 1000 lbs and are twice as strong).
Just something to think about when someone inevitablely makes another one of those "who would win?" threads.
