Subject: Favorite Non-Romantic Pairing in the Universe?

Mine's got to be Dadab and Lighter than Some.

Hey, now!

This is officially either the greatest or worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars. I'm going with the former.

Sgt Johnson and the Chief. They were always portrayed as being close friends after the events of Halo CE, and they had good dialogue and interactions.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Arby and Tar-Tar working together as best buddies in Halo 2.

Arby 'n the Chief are pretty good as well. Similar discipline and abilities.

I thought the Chief/Arbiter/Johnson dream team at the end of Halo 3 was one of the best moments of the series. Too bad they had to kill off Johnson...Could you imagine all 3 of them packed in a 'Hog, Johnson spouting one liners as they raced towards the Dawn?

Erku 'Nuhalee

Henry and the medic, I forget her name, to many to remember, but they had a pretty decent friendship going by the end of the story.

John and Keyes. The mutual respect they had for each other was just amazing even though we only got to observe it a few times.

Ahh.....It really is too bad that they killed him off.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

The Didact and Bornstellar - seeing how they went from loathing each other, to respecting each other, to the eventually becoming the former was really interesting to see develop.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Uh . . . Trying to think of something non Halo . . . The Marathon Guy (Mjolnir Recon number 54) and the AIs he chills with.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

The ODST squad...even though Buck and Dare are a romantic pairing.

Do not waste your tears, I was not born to watch the world grow dim. Life is not measured in years, but by the deeds of men.

Arbiter Thel Vadam and Shipmaster Rtas Vadum. Why do I feel like these two would be a serious force to be reckoned with if someone ever pissed them off?

It is pretty interesting seeing how he developed from being Durandal's servant to finally being set free, after [MARATHON INFINITY SPOILERS] travelling through time to defeat a god.

"It will not be we who reach Alpha Centauri, and the other nearby stars, it will be a species very like us, but with more of our strengths and fewer of our weaknesses, more confident, far-seeing, capable, and prudent. There are quite a few already mentioned that I think are bad-ass. But I guess my fave would have to be Arbiter abd Chief.

Do we count Cortana and the Chief as romantic? If not that's my vote.

I wouldn't count them as romantic. Halsey was more or less like John's surrogate mother, as is Cortana kinda like his big sis.
