Will Master Chief ever be killed off in favour of a character that isn't flat and 1-D?

I liked Noble Six because he/she was whatever I wanted him/her to be. And it's going to stay that way because nobody will be writing anything on Noble Six because it was just a 'one-shot' in a way. All these books on Chief ruined the "faceless" aspect of him, turning him into something I didn't want him to be. Add to the fact that Chief is still flat and uninspiring with all these books on him, means that he REALLY is a terrible character in my opinion. I hope you're right about 343i changing that aspect of him, but I would much rather see a newer, more fleshed out character. But they use Chief to sell game copies, so it won't be happening.

Making John a faceless character was a stupid move, it just implies that they're too lazy to develop his character. When someone is the centrifugal element of a story spanning 100,000 years closing in around him then I expect to see him react to these sort of things as a character. Bungie has numerously tried to suggest there's a character underneath the armour but they failed to make anything significant come of it because they said they want "the player to be the character".

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

What's really the deal with Arby and Chief?

Because game trumps book last time I checked.

Edit: Cannon is a weapon. Canon are facts related to a story.

Why did Reach chose to crush the long lasting stands of pillar canon of the novel and what it made them to make a campaign that is more ridiculous than TfoR?

That's exactly what he's saying though. He's asking why the game had to go and ruin the canon instead of just going with it.

I am Field Master Avu Med 'Telcam, Servant of the Abiding Truth, and I have many brothers.

What is the relationship between the Timeless One, the Precursors, the Flood, the Forerunners, and Humanity?

Who is Halo and why do we never play as him in the games?

Lol. I was thinking of posting something like this but then thought it would be too all-inclusive. This is really the biggest question posed by Cryptum.

This question has been posed since Halo 2. The only thing Cryptum added was the Timeless One, which is what we can safely say is Gravemind.

I hear Brock Lesner can take on a Halo in M and A and win.

In all seriousness, how do the Precursor's neural physics work?

I think it was for simplicity. It would be easier and quicker for them to trample all over it as opposed to following it so strictly. That's just my opinion though, we may never get an answer..

I think it's been continually expanded on since Halo 2. Halo 2 starts the questions about how humans relate to Forerunners because we activate their tech, then Halo 3 (and the Terminals it) add to it with how does The Flood come into it and then Cryptum adds in the Precursors and the Timeless One and past humanity. I guess I just consider it Cryptum's question because it's the latest. :P

I expect great things from Primordium and the next after that.
