Subject: Why go dark?

δόξει τις ἀμαθεῖ σοφὰ λέγων οὐκ εὖ φρονεῖν.

Euripides, Bacchae. 480.

Current Phase: We're dark!

;)

We put a lot of thought into the dialog we have with you guys and girls, and because we were told to by Bobby Kotick we decided that this was the right approach. With time, it'll make more sense.

Fix'd.

Strangely, it's actually true.

It's simple.
Bungie employee's = Nerds
Nerds hate light. So obviously they'd go dark.

  • 09.19.2011 2:15 PM PDT

Stupid ass washing machine...

Another reason why might be out of respect for 343i. They're busy hyping up Halo: CEA right now, so it would be, in my opinion, pretty rude of Bungie to suddenly come and stamp on 343i's toes and announce a new mega-franchise.

I mean, 343i decided to make the respectful decision and base Halo: CEA's multiplayer on Reach's, so perhaps a favour is being returned.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I wish we could atleast had subliminal messages on the Bungie webcams again. :p

Do Work Son!

Yea to be honest I don't like this either. I miss the weekly updates about upcoming events. There's not to much to talk about anymore. I'm spending more time on other forums, the halo waypoint forums. Halo CEA!

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

I hope you guys are right. This is killing us.

Off-topic: Everyone will now say that it's the right thing to do because that's what urk said.

No, Urk said it because it is the right thing.

Kidding, I really don't know what's right in relevance to this topic. I can only assume he's right because he's an employee. They know everything. About everything.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

For being dark, there sure has been an awful lot of employee actively in this forum lately.

Yeah i think it's one of the reason, they don't want to stole the Hype while they're making their new franchise wich is still in construction.

But, strangely at the same thime i feel their new game will be on next gen console why ? Because the current gen is over-saturated by sequel, and when a new era come there's new i.p for launching system (Halo with Xbox, Gears for the 360, Uncharted/Resistance for PS3) With all the rumors of next gen coming in 2013, i think Bungie is in the perfect timing to make it happen...

9/9/09 Bungie Favorites- Champion

Because it gets more attention when information is released. Bungie's always done a good job of giving us the right amount of info at the right time. Enough to get you interested but lacking enough that you're left wanting more.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Why go dark?

Why do girls wear clothes that they know will occasionally and completely by chance offer a slight glimpse of tender skin or soft and silky undergarments that they would be SO embarrassed if someone were to see?

Because they know that boys will stick around for hours waiting for that "totally unplanned" glimpse of something that no one else saw.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

That's why they hired Jerome. They say he's the security guard but he actually makes every game they've made since 2004.
