KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came

I was looking at all of the new features, and I came across a check box labled, "Site Designer" under Security Role Editor.

Site Designer - Allow this user to make site design changes. Cannot be used in a group.

What does that mean? Cannot be used in a group?

achronos said that that feature will be implemented later. So don't worry yourself about it.

at least i think he said that...i'm not gonna go check, too lazy.

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

I noticed it to...

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

I also made a thread about this the other day. I don't remember Achronos saying anything about it but i'm guessing it's for the B.net staff but appears in groups also, or it is indeed a 'feature' coming soon to groups/chapters.

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

But it says..."Not available in groups."

So what is it available for?

The day users of Bnet have any access to the design of the website is a sad one indeed. Apocalyptic, you could say. I definitely can't think of any other use for the role than for giving someone design powers of the site, the fact that is says "not in groups" probably won't change. It's probably only showing up because of a bug, or an update to the Bungie.net security structure (presuming the website operates similarly to most forums, with a security administration system in place).

Unless eventually each group is given an amount of freedom to design a "sub-site" within b.net, i reckon it's just a feature that achronos can give to members' accounts (staff members' accounts that is; don't get your hopes up about getting achronos-level powers) and hasn't gotten round to hiding in groups yet.

I think that is a security role for the Bungie's web team. Which explains why you can't give it to someone.
