I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

More things for us to bicker and make threads about!

New Flood

My title allows you to know that I am better than you, the prefix is there just to rub your face in it a little.

Well with that reasoning, why don't you question other unnecessary aspects of Bungie.net? Like avatars.

He probably does. But he spends a lot of his time questioning a great deal of things.

Yes.

Also, here's my opinion on this thing. Keep everything the same. It is fine the way it is.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

Same reasons there are titles. Elitism.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Well I'm assuming that prefixes are for people to try and gain for fun... just like the main titles.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

The titles need more in my opinion, something tagged to the end. Like "Fabled Mythic Member of ______". I just don't think the titles stress just how serious they are and how much better each of the higher tiers are from the other.

DEATH TO MASTER CHEIF

It is really just to show how long you were a member on bungie.net nothing to brag about

  • 09.21.2011 6:19 PM PDT

Key

Due to the estimated criteria, it can tell people something about the member without that person having to view that users "stat" page (not that there is one).

For example, OP, I can see that you have posted quite a lot in your time, as you are a Fabled Member. You must know a lot about this community and, as I see you in the Septagon a lot, I would look highly on an opinion you would have to offer about a facet of the Septagon or the forums themselves, seeing as you've had lots of experience with posting in here.

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

Qwest Chin:

Some of the titles are related to post count, right?
Do private groups posts count towards your title? Or do only public posts count?

Group posts count. In fact, there are some Fabled Mythics out there that have never posted in the main forums, just in private groups.

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

Titles keep people from misbehaving. If you've been here for a while and want to keep your title, chances are you won't break the rules in order to keep it. Titles also show who is active and who is not to some extent.

The OP is about prefixes.
