for those of you worried about getting a virus....

comdlg.ocx is a set of common dialogs used by visual basic programmers that microsoft provides. Basic commands like file save, file open, and print have common interfaces to shortcut having to make your own interface. So needless to say since I like you guys so much.... Here is v2.0 without the common dialogs. So hopefully that fixes your errors.

Thanks a lot, man. I like this counter. I think it rocks. Also, thanks for incorporating custom pictures and always being on top. Question: Is there a certain size the custom pictures have to be?

it will automatically resize what ever picture you use. You can just pull you favorite screen shot off a web and use it. It will automatically scale it down.

Better yet!!! Dump all your favorite screen shots into a directory and let it do a slideshow for you!!!

Is there a way to change it for different time zones?

Never mind, just relized it is set to my time zone. Awesome clock though. good job on it.

I found a tiny problem and I don't know if it's something you can fix or not. But if it's set to random pictures and I minimize it, when it switches to the next picture while minimized an error message comes up and closes the clock. Again, this is a tiny problem and I just turned off my random pictures so it won't do it anymore. Other than that pretty awesome clock, thanks man.

I recommend using the "Master Chief and Helljumpers" picture at Bungie's Halo 02 Screenshots section (it's the second one). ;D

I posted the following as a new message in the forum. But thought I'd post it here also for any of you who are following the messages here.

For those of you who were not satisfied with just having the Halo Countdown clock....
I now present to you the Halo Countdown ScreenSaver!!! It doesn't come prepackaged with any images to save on room. That way you can use nice big crisp and clear images instead of highly cropped and pixly ones that I would have to pack in to make it a feasable download for most of us. You can access both the clock and screensaver at the following link:
