Ahh it's you. Been a while hasn't it? We WILL finish this.

Just you wait.

Yeah I like thel vadam. He's cool and he's one of the few elites who doesn't act like and think like a zealous religious arrogant bastard. But he can't win against master chief. Arbiter may be cool and may have gone through a lot of epic huge battles and to survive them means he's skilled, but you guys forget the crappy armor he wears. The arbiter's armor since its old, has MUCH weaker shielding than the mark 6 armor chief wears. And I'm not completely sure at all, I'm just making a guess I might be wrong if I am correct me, but I don't think it enhances arbiter's physical capabilities. So chief has the advantage on this one.

And also chief has killed many elites with the same skill and abilities as arbiter AND has fought longer and against stronger forces than arby. Realisticly guys, chief has waay too many advantages, he would win. But I know it wouldn't be an easy fight at all. Chief probably would end up with a nice new big scar on his chest to remember arby by.

It's a fight that could go either way. The armor Thel wears isn't that ancient by the way, it's essentially 20 years old seeing as how Ripa, the Halo Wars Arbiter, died and got blown up in his armor.

Yeah but mark 6 shields and armor still way more superior. Besides arbys armor is really ancient. Didn't halo legends have an elite who was an arbiter? And that legends story took place probably hundreds of years before the human covie war.

An Elite minor almost killed John in hand to hand combat at Gamma Station.

A former Zealot would easily be much deadlier than a minor. I'd put my money on Thel any day.

Chief may have better shields, but Thel probably has better experience. Both were trained from childhood, Thel probably earlier since Sangheili culture is far more brutal than humanities.

We also have to consider weaponry. Plasma weaponry is more damaging to shields than bullets, that gives Thel an edge. If we go hand-to-hand, it may be fairer, but Thel would probably have an Energy Sword giving him an edge while Chief may have a combat knife. Givign Chief an Energy Sword won't help him since a Thel Lodamee bested Chief in a duel.

In his first engagement with an enemy he'd never observed before, John won. He then proceeded to kill hundreds, possibly thousands of Elites, in the course of the next year. Including several Zealots. Moot point.

Despite this, the Arbiter was a special Elite. He was possibly one of the most accomplished Elites at that point in time.

I'd put them on equal footing.

Every retconned piece media, such as Legends, before FoR. Plus the hundreds in the Campaigns.

Curiously enough, I'd like links and sources if at all possible. Not for the Campaign, I know full well lots of Elites perished there by my hands.
