I was just wondering, is there a statute of limitations of sorts on rule breaking? For example, if Foman decides to click page 13 of the Septagon on a whim and sees me forum copping and derailing in the same thread (just to make sure it isn't a minor offense of "inb4"), could he ban me? Even if the thread was so cOLD that you couldn't post in it anymore.

I know that there is both no rule specifically addressing this "issue"and that I "have no rights", I guess I was just wondering if A) anyone has ever experienced this B) the communities overall opinion on a situation like this and C) if a forum ninja would respond with their opinion on the matter. (I would also like to note that I know that just because one ninja feels one way doesn't make it law, I just figured there account/opinion would count a bit more in this situation.)

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

No, if it is dead, nothing more to do.

It slipped through the cracks, oh well.

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

"i liked the reality where everything was on fire better"
-legato on remedial chaos theory

I find your example most interesting.

I'm pretty sure your word is not law, ken. Not that I don't appreciate feedback, but you're saying it as if you know...

I have seen this thread before and recon or someone else said once it is like past the first 2-3 pages, it is gone so they focus on page 1 topics.

At least, that is what I heard.

Your surprised by his actions?

OT: I think only if its worth a ban....If you just trolled it, and its really old, your probably fine.
But if you shock sited, its probably going to end in a ban is my guess.

I would like to see a ninja's response to this.

I'm sorry if it looks like I'm constantly picking on you, but that's the pot calling the kettle black.

OT: Osama Bin Laden was punished last year for events that happened over a decade ago.

that's an international terrorist who's commited both war crimes and orchestrated thousands of deaths. This is a person who was forum copping and erailed a thread on an internet forum. Hardly comparable.

You can get banned for old stuff.

But unless it's on the front page due to a necro-bump or something, chances are they won't do anything about it unless it's something big (rather than a vague or minor rule). Not like it really matters though.

  • 09.22.2011 6:23 PM PDT

Yes, of course, I know, lol. I meant the concept.

  • 09.22.2011 6:23 PM PDT

But hey! What do me and Ken have to say? We're just morons and the most hated members of the Community. LOL!

bans r spr srs

But I doubt a Ninja would be that mean... I can't really think of one that would ban you something too old.

You'd be suprised...

Have you been banned for a similar reason or something?

I guess it makes sense that something wouldn't be looked at after 48 hours, I just guess if I were a mod I would kinda feel obligated to do it, no matter how much of a dick it may make me seem. But I'm not obviously, so I was hoping for a ninja response but that kind of stuff is usually based on blind luck.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

Are you actually asking whether or a not a ninja is capable of hitting you from an unexpected direction?

(Of course, bear in mind that ninjas are human, and ask yourself whether they are really going to bother trawling through weeks old threads looking for people to ban)
