One of the most fun and unique elements of the gameplay of Halo was the physics. You know what I'm talking about. Crashing warthogs into each other or blowing them up, watching them flip over and fly through the air... dead bodies flying past your field of view as you blow up a clutch of discarded grenades on the floor.... hitting a ghost with a tank round and it taking almost a minute to land again after describing a graceful arc all the way to the distant limit of visibility... having your warthog sent flipping high into the air by a huge explosion and managing somehow to land fast and clean and continue cutting a swathe through your enemies. The physics in HaloCE were FUN. It'd be nice to see physics like that in future games *cough*

The only thing it needed with the physics is for the warthog and scorp tank to explode. Many people are probably gonna flame me about this but I find it unchallenging that they can't destroy my human vehicle. Then again they probably only did this for the sake of the last part in the game.

It made it kind of fun to have indestructable vehicals.

Indestructable vehicles WERE fun, but I'm not surprised they moved on from them. I WAS surprised they moved on from those 'bouncy' physics though, they really made the mechanics of the game a lot of fun.
