hey Makar

it's not necessarly "if i had the power" but rather if it made sence for enough people in this community.

What i would add or wouldn't mind seeing implemented is a Status feature and no i don't mean titles (member, heroic ect.) i mean something that shows whether a particular member is on B.net or not. Yes i know there's a code or something, coup or what not that you can instal but i'm one of those people that like B.net for just being B.net and not try to make it something that it's not, so either its part of it or not at all.

in further detail, this feature would allow each one of us to have the option to be seen or not, by truning it on anyone that looks at your profile would be able to see if you are online (on B.net) or offline. If you choose to be visible than it shows ON or Present or Active or Kicking Some Ass... i guess that last one would be more for Bungie emplyees only o_O and if you are not signed in or choose to remain unnoticed it would either show nothing or abscent or offline. In addition, if a member chooses to be visible and is active the aformentioned message would display but after a certain ammount of time elapses and the member is inactive it would also have a prefix such as Inactive or away or fell asleep or something.

There are many ways and Statuses that could be adapted i guess but i'm sure the ones that make most sence or are clearest with it's message would be chosen, it all depends how much fun Bungie wants us to have with that or how usable they would be.

What will this idea help with ? perchapse nothing perchapse a lot, it depends on what type of member are you. For one it would allow Bungie to do away with the "friends list idea", i mean the whole point behind that was to see whether they are on or not but it's up to us individuals to know who they are and not Bungie having to have to implement a feature that reminds us, besides isn't that what Groups are for ? i mean, hey you want a friends list ? Start a group... call it (and i'll use myself here as an example), call it D1Mik and friends and BAM you got yourself a B.net friends list, you'll just have to do some inviting.

So all in all i think this might help with private messaging as well as finding out if your friends or the people you stalk are here, it would also bring some of us back to checking out individuals more and what makes them special by going to their profile.

Offtopic: The Nyan-stuff made me laught. :)

Ontopic: A quick way to jump to an employee's anser in a thread. It's pretty annoying to search through 50 pages just to find it. And maybe simplify the use of writing threads/replies. I mean why can't you just mark your text and then press "Bold", for example, for it to work like it does on other sites, or have I missed something?

What if their post is not within the post history limit?

I <3 you too Bungie

A slingshot-into-the-sun flash game. We could call it Bungie Birds. When you shoot an enemy toward the sun all the little bungie characters on your side can flip them off as they fly. It's a pun, get it?

Interesting idea, I would find it very useful aspecially before I message someone.
