Marine: "Got a new contact. Unknown Classification!"
Lord Hood: "If it isn't one of ours, take it out."
MC: "This is bus 117, can anyone hear me? Over."
Lord Hood: "Isolate that signal. Master Chief, you mind telling me you're doing at that school?"
MC: "Sir... picking up these kids."
Well the title practically exposes the point but let's give you something to read either way.
There is a gap between Halo 2 and 3 for Johnson, Keyes, and Thel. Master Chief's adventure home is told through the Uprising comics, and I feel the three deserve an adventure home story too, but rather than a book or comic why not use another Halo Wars to tell the tale?
Halo Wars RTS gameplay would bring so much poetintial given what's going on at the time. Here's what I see:
-Single Player allows you to build both Human and Sangheili uprising units.
-Co-op splits the two factions giving 2nd player control over Sangheili rebel units, while single player solely controls humans.
-Keyes, Thel, Rtas, and Johnson will be the heroes this time around, but that doesn't mean we can't throw in new faces. Maybe even the 3rd and 4th player Sangheili warriros from Halo 3? Shed some light on who they are.
-Revisit some of the levels on Delta Halo in RTS form.
-The Space trip home allows RTS management giving you control over bigger base units as well as the normal aerial units.
-The split at the time would allow 5 possible militias: Human, Sangheili rebels, Covenant loyalists, Flood, and Sentinels.
I don't know why we don't address the gap anymore, but it's a part of the tale and don't you think it deserves light? They could easily make a game off of this, and come on what Halo fan wouldn't buy it, what with the prestige of Halo 2?
(I appologize for this being poorly written, I'm tired. :/ )
Thoughts?
