Personally, I don't think we should put a "ban on pony threads."
Some people legitimately like My Little Pony. I don't understand it. I'm not going to attempt to understand it. However, I will treat those topics with the same respect that any other topic in The Flood deserves, as long as it follows the forum rules.
Admittedly, I do not voluntarily go into My Little Pony threads, simply because I can't think of a single thing that would interest me in those threads. I think a lot of people would be better off if they adopted the same approach, rather than make "drive-by attacks" on those who want to discuss it.
With that said, if anyone ever feels like they're being harassed in any thread, including MLP threads, feel free to report it to a moderator. I can't promise that I'll get to it right away, but I don't mind going through those threads if people are being jerks; however, some of you use the terms "trolling" and "flaming" a little too loosely. I think I have a pretty strict interpretation as to what constitutes as harassment, but sometimes it seems like people are reaching a little bit, even for my standards.
Topics like this come and go. A year ago it was "ban all Beiber threads," before that it was, "ban all Rock vs Rap threads." This is an ongoing trend in The Flood. Eventually, MLP will be off the hot seat and you guys are going to want us to ban another topic. Believe it or not, people want to legitimately talk about things that they like, even if you can't understand why they like it. Those topics shouldn't receive any special treatment, either.
In conclusion, here is an image that you can laugh at. No, I'm not a brony, but I do think that it's pretty funny.

I only have one question about this; would you suggest simply reporting posts or sending a PM to a moderator if said poster is a multiple-offender? I know plenty of users who are guilty of this.

Entirely up to you. I don't mind my inbox getting hit with reports on threads and harmful posts. Alternatively, you can catch me on MSN, too (address is in my sig). The report feature is also a useful too, so like I said, it's entirely up to you. As I mentioned, I, personally, won't be able to get to it immediately, especially when I'm working but I make an attempt to get on Bungie.net regularly when I'm at home. You may want to try to PM whoever appears active, but I really doubt anything that could be posted in there, in regards to harassment, needs to be dealt with immediately.
Thought that would help.
Woops. This has already been posted. My bad >_<
