SPARTANS! WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?!

AOOH, AOOH, AOOH!

I believe this is the correct forum to ask this in, because it only seems to be an issue on BNet. I narrowed it down to asking in the Community or Flood forums, so I'm sorry if this isn't right.

The thing is, I sometimes get a message when trying to log in, which says that someone/I have tried to log into the account too many times with the incorrect details. This is odd, because I only ever attempt once, typing in all the correct characters for my password. I know it's right because of how slowly I type.

I'm just wondering, is this just an issue with the site, or is someone/something potentially after my account details, or specifically, my password? I'm running Malwarebytes to see if there's anything infected on my PC. Just wondering if there are any tips you can give me? It happened a while ago so I changed my WLID password, and now it seems to be happening again. If it repeats itself, I will capture the screen for reference.

Nothing to see here citizen.

They are trying to guess your password. I believe there is an option for a double password type system? You could try that.

Thanks, I might have to look into that. In the meantime, I can only think to change my password again, but I'm not doing that until Malwarebytes finishes its scan. Just in case.

Go to Windows LIVE's site, and change your password. You may also want to add security questions in case they get into your account.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I'm not sure how security questions are used to retrieve an account, but in most cases those questions are less of a security measure and more like stashing your housekey under the entrance mat.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Huh. Pretty stupid way to try and get access to your account.

I'm confused... Why is everyone suggesting he change his password if the person attempting to hack it apparently doesn't know it? If he's getting a message saying that he's attempted to long in too many times it's obvious that the password/account has not been compromised.
