Halo 1 & 2 for PC

Sometimes this game gets a little boring just for the fact that every game i play, i absoultly crush the other players/team. im kind of wondering why. you would think that everyone that would play this game would've owned it on xbox and had at least a little experience on it. but almost everybody has sub-par skills. not saying everybody sucks, but most people do. Maybe it's because people cant lead or something.

i might be wrong and i could be just godly at CE and everyone else is adverage, but i don't think im that good...

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

I don't think that's the case. I think most of the Xbox players went to H2V and stopped liking games that take skill to play.

Which version are you playing? There are a TON of really bad players from 1.0 to 1.8, and players get a quite a bit better in 1.9.

i THINK im playing 1.00 right now there are 1337 players on right now. (no joke. what luck...) i heard there are alot less in 1.9 though.

Yeah, that's 1.00. 1.09 sees about 200-300 people online on average. You're playing the hardcore noobs.

Version doesn't matter. It's rare that I ever see anyone that's good at all and if they don't make me feel godly I recognize their name. 97% of Halo PC players now play like it's the first time they've ever picked up the game or don't even know that Halo PC requires lead. If you do actually play the game and don't believe that statement you're probably coming from the same bias that Halo 2 fans are coming from when saying Super Jumps add for another skillful element to the game.

Why are there more players on 1.00? Are they all pirates?

Pirating is the reason, but they're not all pirates. I often get on 1.00 when I can't find any good matches on 1.09. I tend to like 1.04 on basic Halo PC :P

I wouldn't say they're all really bad. Most in 1.09 are definitely below average, but they get downright awful in 1.00.

Personally, I never noticed a difference other than not running into people. I feel like a God on either until someone like Btcc22 or Sero show up... When that happens I feel like I'm one of them. Gives me a real dirty feeling.

What era you play in? :P I haven't seen Btcc22 play a single game in recent days, tried some 1v1s a long while back but his connection :/

Just got him to help me test out a server I was trying to get up and running. Turns out the computer I had at the time to run the server wasn't very ideal for it.

He was really nice to me for doing that... You know... As nice as someone can be while kicking your ass.
