~ it's kill or be killed ~
play nice y have fun

I am a fan of pretty much everything Halo, and I have most of the novels.
So therefore I already preordered the Halo: The Art of Building Worlds book on Amazon and it's a Tenth Anniversary collection kind of thing.

I am wanting to get The Halo Encyclopedia book, but I am confused of the different versions and which one is the legit latest and good version..

I know this one is the older version(not revised and expanded), 2009:

But then there are these two that have been released this year and look identical other than the release dates and costs..

So which one is the latest and greatest? And if they are identical, why are they priced and released differently..??

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Go with the September 19th version, it's the newest.

Obviously the revised and expanded version should be "better" than the not revised and expanded version. Id love to know the difference though, i have the original and found it annoying overall. Not enough deep detail for such a huge book and some silly errors.

The essential visual guide is similar in principle but better imo.
