Happy Ducks Swimming In A Lake.

He went to Spain to have a holiday.

"We knew the world would not be the same.
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds...'
I suppose we all thought that one way or another."
- J. Robert Oppenheimer

Well Halsey eventually meets up with other Spartans and Jun isn't mentioned anywhere. So I'd like to assume he died, but no one can know for sure.

But I don't know. I prioritize book cannon over the game, so...I don't exactly like H:R because it effed up the book cannon which has a way better storyline IMO. So I'm biased.

Not sure if this was answered correctly, but Jun was killed by Thel Vadamee (who becomes the Arbiter in Halo 2) protecting Halsey. Jun held off the Covenant long enough for Halsey to escape. It's all there in the re-release of the book, "The Fall of Reach" told from the Arbiters perspective.

Page numbers, plox.

He's wrong, that Spartan was Sheila durign the Battle of Miridem in 2544. It take place before The Package episode of Halo: Legends. And it wasn't Thel Vadamee who killed her, it was Thel Lodamee.

Why does the Halo universe have to have so many backstories?

Shelia's death was mentioned in Ghosts of Onyx after Halsey thought about some of the Spartans who died in the war. This addition in the "Definitive Edition" just bridges that event with The Package.

When you first said Sheila, I mistook too it for the tank in Red vs. Blue XD.
I'm just commenting that the Halo universe is far more in depth than any other gaming series I've seen.

Debatable, but I understand your point.

Just one of the many reason this series has so much hype. There's way more to it than just the main games.

One of the biggest reasons I personally love Halo so much.
