Subject: "It'll get abused"

Well, the thing is, people would start putting non-Bungie related pictures as their avatar. Seeing as this is Bungie.net, I don't think that would be entirely appropriate, nor would it be 100% acceptable to ban people for not having a Bungie-themed avatar. Ya'll get my drift?

The whole point of custom avatars is to have whatever you want on it. The problem would be when people have explicit content.

Certainly, how silly. Forum Ninjas don't necessarily have bungie related pictures as their avatar. Problem?

Again, this is not about custom avatars as such, that was merely an example.

Do you have any features to suggest, or are you just saying some could work well and some would be abused? If so, I'm pretty sure more than half of everybody here already realized that.

Well that kills my argument. I guess what you said originally would be the only solution, if the Web Team so chose to implement such a feature. However, I deem it unlikely that this will happen any time soon (or even at all).
