Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Go to Start->run->type in "dxdiag" without the quotes, then save the result to your desktop. Then open the text file and post the text in here.
That'll let us know what type of video card/chip you have. Initially, it sounds like an integrated chip.

You can't see the words in multiplayer. Someone on this forum's got a link to a patch to remedy that in their sig. Just hope that they swing by and give you the link...I can't repeat it to you verbatim.

Hm...sounds to me like you don't have enough RAM in your box. System specs? You'll need at least 512 to run Halo.

I would reinstall it, see if that helps, if not, then run the fix that Chewy provided up there in Simon's liink.

And...er...yes, you do need the CD Key if you intend on reinstalling...why? I mean, you don't have an illegit copy...right?

640MB of RAM sounds like you have 512MB plus an extra 128MB chip. Some motherboards get finiky with there memory configurations. Try taking out the 128MB chip and see how it runs.

You HAVE to save the CD key it is the only way you can re-install the game. If you threw it out or lost it your cooked.
