Ranks and Promotions
Points are earned by the following:
Completing Bootcamp (Points go to both the instructor and recruit)- 10 points
Clan activities- 10 points; includes gamenight, ODST Challenge, Forging Friday, etc.
Clan battles; 15 points, 25 for winning
Being "Active" on the forums each week: 10 points
Enlisted Ranks
Recruit- 0 points
Private- 20 points
Private First Class-50 points
Lance Corporal- 100 points
Corporal-150 points
Sergeant-200 points
Staff Sergeant- 350 points
Gunnery Sergeant- 500 points
Officer Ranks
Second Lieutenant- Squad Leader
First Lieutenant- Platoon Leader
Captain- Company Leader
Major- Battalion Leader
Colonel- 251st Leader
Squads System
Squads are small teams designed to give order to the chaos of war. Every squad has a name, a nickname that goes with their radio code letter (So if your squad is Alpha, your nickname can be any word that starts with A) and a color that is placed on your Emblem.
Fireteams- Depends, made in-game to suit needs. Led by any squad member.
Squad- 8 to 12 members. Named Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc...
Platoon- 2 Squads (16-24). Led by First Lieutenant. Named 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc...
Company- 2 Platoons (32-48). Led by Captain. Named A, B, C, etc...
Battalion- 2 Companies (64-94). Led by Major. Named 1, 2, 3, etc...
Emblem and Uniform
We play multiple games, so its a little hard to make a uniform. Don't worry about it.
The Halo Emblem is Mombasa with a Shield. Black Primary, White Secondary (if you don't have a squad) and White background.
Events & Misc.
Before you can become an official member, you must pass Boot Camp. It's just a very basic skill test to make sure you can actually play. You must also be active for a few weeks. It is highly recommended that you come to every event you can in the first few weeks.
Events:
Boot Camp-One time thing, just pass it and move on. Any of the Sergeants and Officers should be able to run you if you ask.
Clan Wide practices-Mondays starting at 8:00 pm EASTERN (-5 GMT), anyone and everyone is invited.
Forging Fridays-Weekly themed forging contest. Each theme is announced on Friday and the previous weeks maps are tested an voted during that Game Night.
Game Night-Fridays at 8:00pm Eastern (-5 GMT). Have fun, party.
