Subject: Multiplayer maps guides...

I know this seems like it belongs in zanzibar, but i think it belongs here...although i could be wrong.

The multiplayer map guides have been utterly disregarded, and although i've found it useless (not because it was done poorly, rather because i've spent so much time on lockout its probably sad), it could be very beneficial to alot of people. However, nothing has been done with it in ages, and i don't have any clue as to who would be dealing with it (sketchfactor?)

Either way, there are plenty of members who would be willing and able to write up entries for each map, and allot of member material has already been put in the lockout entry. I wouldn't be surprised if someone's already done it also. Still, i think it would be great if we could do it. A ton of people would be very happy with it, and i don't think that it would be so difficult.

In any case, several members could get together and write a detailed analysis on each level and submit it to whomever is supposed to do it (or was, i don't know if it was officially canceled or not), and they could review it and make sure that there's nothing wrong with it. Then additions can be made whenever.

Any thoughts?

I never knew that even existed! Way to 'advertise'... (joke)

Yeh, new, updated ones would be Handy McDandy.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

That's probably cuz that walkthrough is old. Ancient even. Written well before it was a common map.

Hmm, lets get the list....

That makes number seven hundred and seventy eight.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

Wow. I must admit that I was ignorant to their existance as well. But although I agree that it would be nice if the guides were revamped, I don't think it's necessary. There are so many other websites and magazines with so many other unofficial map guides out there that it's really easy to find something that is well thought out, and up to date.

Just speculation, but I believe that the soon to be on-board (if not already) "contract writer" may be tasked with a site review and content update.

Good point. Oh, did we ever get any news on that? I thought we would have heard about whoever got highered awhile back, but still nothing.

Yeah, i mentioned about this a while back. Not that I need it that much, its just a good read through to see if theres something i do or dont know about a map. I agree with you though, i'd really like to see a guide.

I think that the Content Monkey is getting a pet of his own. Oh the fame and notoriety.... "Hi there ladies, I am the Bungie.Net Content Monkey's pet. Yeah, I've got an important title and everything. What is it? Oh nevermind, but it is really important."

I'm thinking Siberian Hamster (named Basil) or the Norwegian Blue (lovely plumage, idn't it?).

Giving Frankie a pet doesn't seem like a good idea, all that hair and green apples? err are they sure about this?
